How to be a good communicator
Our communication training is namely geared towards people who work directly with adults and children who have support and communication needs. Our training provides an essential skillset to ensure that you’re confident in enabling and empowering people to thrive in a person centred environment.
In this training, we look at the definition and purpose of good communication and how it works. A range of skills and tools are explained and sampled, including communication aids, technology, signing, objects of reference, and so on. During our sessions, trainees will learn the importance of active listening, and how to become a good communication partner.
By the end of your training, you should feel confident in your abilities, have a better understanding of others and have a valuable set of skills.
