Arts Group Handbook
The Arts Group Handbook was written by the Dr Nicola Grove and the Openstorytellers team. It is an accessible guide to setting up your own arts organisation. You work through the handbook together as a group, helping you decide what your group does, who is it for and what your goals are. There are activities and discussion points to help you along your journey and as you work through the different sections you are working towards your business plan. There are workbooks for your group to fill in as you work through the handbook.

“The Arts Group Handbook is the first of its kind – a detailed and accessible guide to setting up an arts group. Not only is it a valuable resource for people with learning disabilities, but it provides a clear and thorough guide to navigating a complex process. It will be useful to very many people, I’m sure”
Mark Richardson, Artistic Director – Carousel
