We are very happy to say that more of our staff team are now back from furlough, which is fantastic.
This month we are going to be talking with our members so that together we can figure out how and what Openstorytellers is going to look like in the coming months. It's very exciting!
As you may know, during the last few months we have been running online sessions which have been invaluable (and lots of fun!) for all involved. There have been quizzes, storytelling, games as well as 1:1 practical or emotional support to help members through this unprecedented and daunting time. Our Artist in Residence has also created an amazing animation about the lockdown experience - you can watch it here. Some of our members have also been coming to look after Openstorytellers' Sensory Garden, which thanks to them is thriving and in full bloom!
We now need to expand our creative support programme and explore innovative ways of working. We anticipate that it will include more online projects, outdoor working and when it is safe to do so, we hope to return to running small groups at our lovely hub too. Please watch this space as we find our new path.
