There’s lots of ways you can get involved with Openstorytellers
Becoming a volunteer, fundraiser or donor is a rewarding way to help enrich the lives of people with learning and communications difficulties.
Lend a hand
Can you spare a few hours a week to support adults with learning and communication difficulties? You don’t need any specialist skills or knowledge, we’re looking for all kinds of people to help out. Our volunteers support our weekly groups, helping our members to find their voice, develop their confidence and find their place in the wider community.
To join our team as a volunteer or find out more about what’s involved, please get in touch.
We are incredibly grateful for the fundraising our friends and supporters do for us. Our amazing fundraisers have ridden 200 miles in a day, run the SW coast path in 7 days, and even organised a sponsored head shave! Every penny raised goes to supporting people with learning difficulties to be heard, understood, included and valued.
If you would like to fundraise for us, please get in touch and we will be delighted to support you in your efforts.
We rely on donations to keep Openstorytellers running. Every donation makes a huge difference to the work we do and the people we help and support.
The easiest way to donate is through our Donate Now button. You can also send us a cheque, made payable to Openstorytellers Limited.
If you are a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid allows us to reclaim 25% in tax on your donation. This makes a huge difference to us and means we can do more with the money you donate. To use gift aid, please tick the Gift Aid box on Local Giving. Alternatively, if you are donating via cheque, please contact us for a Gift Aid form.
