Follow the story of the Openstorytellers Book Club
January 2012
Our Book Club Co-ordinator Robert is also a documentary film maker and this year he is combining his talents to produce a film that follows his Book Club's journey through the year. Robert's Book Club is kindly supported by South Wilts Mencap and brings classic works of literature to life for people who wouldn’t normally have access to them.
The film will give a wonderful insight into the Book Club and what it means to the participants. We'll keep you posted on Robert's progress and look forward to sharing the film with you.
Openstorytellers Artist Robin Meader Exhibits in Frome
November 2011
Our company artist, Robin Meader proudly exhibited a selection of his art at The Frome Decorative Arts Exhibition at Rook Lane Chapel. The exhibition was described as a place where art, craft, design, interiors, decoration, furniture and furnishings meet and was Frome's first such exhibition.
Robin wan't the only Openstoryteller involved though. We were delighted to be asked to perform at the exhibition opening night. Nicola, inspired by her recent adventures in Japan performed the Hyottoko story with Dan, accompanied with music and dance. A fun evening and great way to start the exhibition.
